Andrew Smith - Business Owner

Andrew is the proud father of two beautiful little girls and the husband of a very supportive wife. Andrew is an IT professional  (and member of the Australian Computer Society) with over 10 years experience in the computing field. Andrew has worked with many major corporations, starting with Brisbane based Data#3 in the early 90's as a systems integrator dealing with customer relationship management software. Andrew quickly moved through the ranks and found a position at one of the nations iconic companies - SnowyHydro. Andrew and his family enjoyed their time living in the Snowy Mountains region of southern NSW. Andrew was involved in many major infrastructure projects and the implementation of major software implementations (some running into the millions of dollars!)

Wanting to be back in sunny QLD Andrew and his family moved back home to take on positions with Tarong Energy and Weyerhauser (now Carter Holt Harvey) as Senior Systems Analyst. Andrew also has a passion for youth and his background in teaching and his love for his children led him away from the corporate ladder and back to the classroom in 2007. Andrew enjoyed his time in the class room, rubbing shoulders with Australia's future leaders.

Andrew and his family are also active members of the Wesleyan Methodist Church, Debbie (Andrew's wife) is the administrator for the Gympie Wesleyan Methodist Church and is also a state  board member of the Wesleyan Methodist Church. Andrew is also passionate about those less fortunate than ourselves,  mission trips, locally and overseas are an important part of our family life. Andrew also sits of the board of World Hope Australia.

The flexibility of this business structure will aid Andrew in his passion for youth and the underpriviledged - a percentage of the profit from this business will go directly to the work of World Hope Australia to support and help the needy of this world.
